One note at a time. One level higher.
Complete a scale = +1. The next one appears automatically.
Hot-plug supported. Sustain pedal is ignored for scoring; note-on order is assessed, not fingering.
One note at a time, no sustain pedal. Hold each note briefly. Start around C3–C6; lower this threshold if quiet notes are missed. MIDI is better for fast playing.
See the note path. Follow the purple key.
Download and open in a full browser. Tap mode needs no connection. For mic or MIDI, use HTTPS or localhost and allow the browser permission prompt. An API being available does not guarantee a device is connected.
Microphone pitch estimates can be wrong in noisy rooms, with overlapping notes, or at high speed. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or sent to a server.
MIDI / mic: start on any octave of the named tonic, then follow the displayed direction. For descending scales, start on the high tonic. Octave checking can be turned off.
This game checks note order, not fingering, hand posture, rhythm or musical expression. Classical melodic minor uses different notes going up and down.
Tap one key at a time. Sound is optional.
